Camille Sledge is a force of nature. Her roles in life have been wonderfully diverse and with each she has been spirited, driven, full of passion and successful as a songwriter, artist, mother, non-profit leader, singer, actress, activist and model. Growing up around music, her mother is Debbie Sledge of the iconic group Sister Sledge who Camille occasionally performs with in addition to solo performances and being the lead singer of the renowned group Phoenix Afrobeat Orchestra.
Camille’s recent journeys have taken her to London, Copenhagen and Skopje, where she has performed her own songs in addition to jazz renditions of Aretha Franklin, Nina Simone and many other well known artists. Whether on stage, in the studio or producing an event, Camille is always fueled by a strong energy and driven to put forth more than 100%. Her live shows are not to be missed – some one recently described her concert as the new Queen of Soul meets a hurricane. Come out and see Camille Sledge for yourself – be a part of the rising storm.
